Beard & moustache
Beard transplant
Follicles from your own donor area are placed into patchy or sparse areas of the beard and moustache, at the angle facial hair grows.
- Your own hair follicles
- Local anaesthesia, out-patient
- Trimmed and shaved like the rest
How it works
What a beard transplant is
If parts of your beard or moustache are patchy or missing — through genetics, scarring or injury — follicles can be taken from the donor area, usually the back of the scalp, and placed into those areas one by one.
Each follicle is set at the angle and direction your facial hair grows, so the new hair sits with your existing beard. Once grown, it is trimmed, shaped and shaved like the rest of it.

- 03 Cheek line, jaw line, goatee or moustache

RT-FUE hair transplant
Real-Time FUE: follicles are extracted and implanted at the same time, each one placed within minutes of being taken, with no storage solution in between. The technique Studio 6 performs most.
Read more →Robotic technique
The robotic procedure follows the same principle as FUE, but the machine removes grafts one by one and assists in implanting them — less time than manual work, with roots implanted precisely over the required area.

Individual follicular units of 1 to 4 hairs are extracted with 0.6–1mm punches and placed into the balding scalp under local anaesthesia. Transplanted hair keeps growing for life and can be cut, styled and shampooed normally.

Hair follicles are transplanted into the brow to restore shape and density lost to over-plucking, scarring, thyroid conditions or ageing.
