Non-Surgical Hair Restoration

Hair Restoration Therapies for Thinning Hair

PRP, GFC and Thread Embedding Therapy (TET) are non-surgical hair restoration treatments that may help address certain types of hair thinning and hair loss. Depending on your scalp condition and individual needs, a doctor may recommend these hair restoration therapies on their own or alongside a hair transplant. Each treatment plan begins with a scalp assessment to help determine the most suitable hair loss treatment for you.

  •   No incision, no stitches
  •   Out-patient sessions
  •   Planned after a scalp assessment

How Each Hair Restoration Treatment Works

PRP, GFC and Thread Embedding Therapy (TET) are non-surgical hair restoration options offered at Studio 6 Clinics. Each treatment follows a different approach and may be considered for certain types of hair thinning or hair loss. After examining your scalp and reviewing your medical history, the doctor will explain which hair restoration therapy may suit your needs. Depending on your condition, treatment may be recommended on its own or alongside a hair transplant.

01 · Therapy

PRP therapy

A hair restoration procedure in which a solution is created from your own blood. Blood contains three components — haemoglobin, platelets and plasma. The platelets and plasma are separated, growth factor is added, the solution is stored in a centrifugation machine and then injected drop by drop over the scalp.

02 · Therapy

GFC therapy

GFC is prepared from your own blood, like PRP. The platelets are activated so they release their growth factors, and the solution is processed to keep the concentrated growth factors while most of the cells are removed. It is then injected into the thinning areas of the scalp.

03 · Therapy

Thread Embedding therapy (TET)

In Thread Embedding therapy, very fine absorbable medical threads are placed just under the skin of the thinning areas of the scalp with a thin needle. The threads dissolve on their own over the following weeks. The doctor decides after examining your scalp whether it suits you, and whether to combine it with another treatment.
